What is Wrong With This World

What is Wrong With This World

Here’s what is wrong with this world! The insane have taken control of the world and the sane have surrendered. It is insane, for what’s going on cannot be explained nor be fit in the limits of sanity. I am not talking about any individual or specific phenomena, it’s just, our world has gone insane.

Hypocrisy and Its Roots in Our Society

Our social evolution has led us to become hypocrites, our entire society and lives are based on lies and hypocrisy. We are a hypocrite society, so righteous, driven by high moral standards and rules, aiming to do good yet doing only the opposite. This hypocrisy has become our comfort zone. It would be unusual not be so. That’s why “bad” people are being pointed at more often than “good” people. It is to remind us, that there are those who are way worse than ourselves. I could go on non-stop about this subject proving my point, but it would only be a waste of time.

Hypocrisy has become a part of our nature. Our thoughts contradict our words. And our words contradict our actions. It is common to speak of love, but weird to love. It is accepted to preach against hatred and it is usual to hate. Even preaching against hatred is a hypocrisy, I mean you’ll preach love and at the same time hate the hater. You’ll encourage tolerance but not accept non-tolerant people. We seek freedom and force it on us and others. I mean what freedom it is if it’s forced on someone…

It is best said, that those who preach love lack love, those who preach peace do not have peace.

How Our Society Works

We have created moral standards and laws which only turn to hurt us.

It is an absolute chaos. Having to live a purposeless life, living in a money-hungry and money-driven culture. Money could be just a measure of what one is capable of, but it should not be a measure of whether one must be hungry, cold or spoiled. At least so says the conscience…

Our laws, rules and values have brought suffering all around us. As the great saying goes, the demand for permanence in every area of our existence is the cause of human misery, and yet again, all our lives are based on the pursue of permanence. Permanence in happiness, health and wealth.

Wars, wars are just as absurd as any other kind of conflict. We are missing the sense of unity, we are missing the feeling of oneness, we cannot see that there’s no difference between us. I mean all the differences for which we fight for are just made up ones, illusions I would say (history, country, religion, principals, wealth, dominance etc…)

Dear reader, please note, I am not blaming any of the above for what is wrong in this world, they were created by mankind out of the need to have them. It is like blaming the gun or the gun creator, the first has no choice while the other has just created a demand. However, what I am pointing at is the absurdity of the crowd and the lack of courage.

One of the Main Reasons for Such Absurdities

We have developed a sense of belonging. We have this urge that we must belong to something or to someone. From the social evolution standpoint, this sense is born out of the need to be protected, you give something to gain something else. Let’s say, you give your “freedom” instead you gain “protection”. But as the evolution proceeded, this sense of belonging threatened someone else’s survival, which in its turn turned things around.

[If you want to retrieve your freedom, here’s the way]

People who belong to the same, fight people who belong to another.

In the same way a forced love isn’t love, and no love is ever free. Had my hips loved my hair, it would be just as insane. Loving is as insane as hating. But, we are incapable of living without them.

At Last, What is Wrong With The World?

Now, for the most sensitive part. The part which will make all this nagging understandable.

We hear phrases like “doing that is inhumane”, “humanity is lost”, “could you be more humane” and so on… Can anyone point to a certain time in history where there were no wars? where there were no ruthlessness, where there were no slaves and masters, no strong and weak, no killing, no struggle and no suffering? Of course not.

The point is, this is humanity, and it is not bad or negative. This is how it has been for the past couple of thousand years, which are supposedly known to us, so when we look at what’s going on and think it is wrong, or absurd or insane, we are completely wrong, this is how it has been, nothing has changed, and absolutely nothing is wrong with this world.

We are hypocrites because we have fear. Fear is essential for survival. We lie because they won’t accept the truth or so we think, it is the golden rule of lying.

We have wars, because we still haven’t settled to understand each other, because we still can’t understand. The sense of belonging is there because we cannot live alone, or because we need each other in order for us as a race to move forward.

Thinking? A question arises, one which is hard to answer. Why do we have an ability, thinking that is, which has the potential to make us go against our basic instincts? I mean why do we feel bad for doing what we do? Why do some people reject happiness, sexuality, reproduction and many other essentials for survival? Why do we have an ability which can act against our instinct of survival? I mean thinking itself gets us into trouble from the survival standpoint! To better understand thinking and why we have such an ability, if we have of course, we’ll have to wait for another unfuckwithable blog.
